Programme

During all the event, visitors are allowed to seat on the famous stands of the Formla One Grand Prix. 6500 places are available for free.

Thursday, July 2nd
Teams will be officially presented to the press and the public. For the teams, this will be a dress rehearsal in a party atmosphere, between the publicity caravan and the musical entertainment.  For the spectators, the presentation of the teams will be a unique opportunity to approach their favourite champions.

From 6:00 pm to 7:70 pm on the Port :
-  Presentation of the teams
-  Cycle parade
-  Passage of the Tour Caravan
-   Evening, from7:30 pm to 10:30 pm, Dance Party”- Musical entertainment

Saturday, July 4th
The Tour de France will be setting off from Monaco. This event undoubtedly marks one of the great moments in the Principality’s history of contemporary sport. The first stage, a 15 km individual race against the clock, will take place on a section of the F1 Grand Prix of Monaco circuit.

-   1st stage: Individual time trial, 15km
-  12:30 pm : circuit is closed
-   1:30 pm : the Tour Caravan leaves following the entire route
-   4:00 pm : the 1st contestant leaves, then one every minute – Port Hercule
-   7:30 pm : the last cyclist arrives in Port Hercule followed by the Podium and presentation of the Tour’s first yellow jersey

Sunday, July 5th
The second stage, the group will set off from the starting line heading towards Brignoles in the Var. Symbolic start at the Rascasse, passing in front of Sainte Dévote, avenue d’Ostende, then the official start in place du Casino. They will then cycle out of the Principality on the eastern side towards the Saint Roman interchange, heading towards Nice and the west of the Maritime Alps.

-  2nd stage : Monaco - Brignoles, 182 km
-   10.30 am : Caravan leaves
-   12:15 pm : start from the Rascasse, passing in front of Ste Dévote, avenue d’Ostende, then official start to take in place du Casino with the cyclists grouping together. They will then leave the Principality via the East towards the St Roman interchange, heading in the direction of Nice.
